Our admission process is designed to be simple, supportive, and transparent. Sunrise Model School welcomes students for classes Pre-Nursery to Class VIII every year during the official admission period.

Registration Form

1. What is the age for admission to Pre-Nursery?

Typically 3+ years.

2. Is Sunrise Model School English-medium?

Yes, English is the first language and the primary medium of instruction.

3. Are there entrance tests?

  • No written test for Pre-Nursery & Nursery

  • Written test for LKG–VIII

4. Does the school offer NEP 2020-based learning?

Yes—skill development, field exposure, practical learning, and multidisciplinary teaching are integrated.

5. Are fees paid monthly or yearly?

Tuition fees are monthly; yearly fees may be paid annually or in three installments.

6. Does the school provide boarding?

Yes—separate hostels for boys and girls, supervised by matrons and a nurse.

7. What if a child misses the entrance test?

A rescheduled test may be offered depending on seat availability.

8. Can parents meet teachers during school hours?

Meetings require prior permission to avoid disrupting classes.

9. Are mobile phones allowed?

No. Students must not carry mobiles or valuables.

10. What’s the student–teacher ratio?

1:15 to ensure individual attention.

Admission FAQ's

Application forms are available at the school office along with the Prospectus. Parents should fill out the form carefully and submit it with necessary documents.

Step 1: Collect the Prospectus & Application Form

Pre-Nursery & Nursery (Ages 3–4)

No written test is conducted. Instead:

  • Children attend a friendly observation session

  • Teachers observe communication readiness, comfort level, motor skills

  • Parents attend a short interaction session with the admission team

This helps us understand the child’s needs and readiness for school life.

Step 2: Admission Process by Class Level

LKG to Class VIII

Admission for higher classes includes:

  • A written entrance assessment (age-appropriate)

  • An interaction/interview with admissions staff or faculty

  • Academic record review (for students transferring from other schools)

The aim is not to eliminate but to place the child in the environment best suited for their growth.

Documents for Pre-Nursery & Nursery

  • Birth Certificate (Xerox)

  • Aadhaar Card of student & parents

  • 2 Passport-size photographs

  • Voter ID / COI of either parent

Step 3: Document Submission

Documents for LKG–VIII

  • Transfer Certificate (EMMIS)

  • Last Report Card / Marksheet

  • Birth Certificate

  • Aadhaar Card (student + parents)

  • Voter ID / COI of parents

  • 2 Passport-size photographs

Admission is confirmed only when:

  • All documents are verified

  • Admission + yearly + monthly fees are paid

  • The student meets the required readiness criteria

The school reserves the right to grant or refuse admission based on guidelines.
